These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sealed Rose’s website, applications, developer APIs, browser extensions, and artificial intelligence (AI) media forensics and verification utilities (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing the Service, registering an account, or purchasing Verification Credit Packs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service & scope

Sealed Rose is a specialized technological platform engineered for AI media forensics, synthetic artifact detection, and deepfake verification. Our tools analyze digital assets to identify generative signatures, acoustic anomalies, perceptual inconsistencies, and unauthorized likeness cloning. Key components include:

• AI video detector (/verify-video): Multi-frame neural decomposition detecting generative video architectures (e.g., ByteDance Seedance, Wan 2.1, Kling, Sora, Luma, Runway Gen-3) and face-swap manipulation.
• AI image detector (/verify-image): Spatial artifact, frequency-domain analysis, and diffusion pattern detection (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Flux, Recraft).
• AI voice & audio detector (/verify-audio): Fourier transform spectrogram analysis detecting synthetic pitch contours, robotic phase continuity, and cloned voiceprints (e.g., ElevenLabs).
• AI text detector (/verify-text): Perplexity and burstiness evaluation detecting synthetic text and large language model generation.
• Reverse face search & likeness defense (/reverse-face-search): Biometric embedding generation to detect unauthorized deepfakes and catfish impersonation across indexed media.
• Developer forensics API (/api-keys): High-throughput programmatic endpoints for enterprise workflows, trust-and-safety moderation, and platform ingestion checks.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or purchase verification credits.

• Account security: You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, API keys, and tokens. Sharing API keys or credentials across unauthorized organizations is strictly prohibited.
• Lawful representation: When creating an account or querying developer endpoints, you represent that all registration information provided is accurate and current.

3. Credits, pricing & billing (Stripe)

Forensic media verification is powered by pay-as-you-go credit packs processed securely by Stripe. Consumer scan credits and developer API credits are separate, distinct balances and are non-transferable. See our full Refund & credits policy for complete billing terms:

• Consumer scan credit packs:
  • Mini pass: 3 videos (36 credits) for $0.99 USD.
  • Single-case pass: 5 videos (60 credits) for $2.99 USD.
  • Quick pass: 150 credits ($4.99), enough for 12 videos with 6 credits to spare.
• Developer API credit packs:
  • Starter pack: 500 API credits for $15 USD.
  • Pro pack: 2,000 API credits for $50 USD.
  • Scale pack: 10,000 API credits for $200 USD.
• Consumption rates: Verification costs 1 credit per AI image scan, audio clip analysis, synthetic text check, or Phone Carrier Reputation lookup, and 12 credits per deepfake video scan (accounting for multi-frame neural decoding and temporal model inference).
• Non-expiring & no subscriptions: Verification credits never expire and do not carry recurring monthly charges or subscription commitments.
• Refund conditions: Unconsumed credit packs are eligible for a 100% full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase. When you close your account, any unspent credit balance is refunded to your card. Consumed credits are non-refundable because each check uses paid computing.

4. Acceptable use & forensic submission standards

When utilizing our public scanners or programmatic API endpoints, you agree to the following:

• Free daily quotas: One (1) free check per day without an account, and eight (8) with a free account. Video checks are limited to one (1) and six (6). High-volume verification requires a purchased credit pack or developer API key.
• Lawful investigative interest: You warrant that you possess the lawful right, express consent, or legitimate security, verification, or journalistic interest to submit media or phone numbers for forensic scanning.
• Mandatory illegal content pre-screen (REPORT Act): All submitted images and video frames are screened against known digital hashes of illegal material (including Microsoft PhotoDNA) before forensic processing. If suspected CSAM is detected, processing stops and we report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. The reported material is preserved in restricted, encrypted storage for the period the law requires (under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A(h)), then deleted.
• Algorithmic estimation disclaimer: AI detection confidence scores, model attributions, and deepfake indicators are statistical estimations produced by machine-learning models. They are provided strictly “AS IS” for informational and triage purposes, and do not constitute certified judicial proof or admissible expert witness testimony without independent professional examination.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use any part of the Service to:

• Upload, scan, process, or transmit Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, or any content sexualizing minors in any form.
• Upload, generate, facilitate, or distribute Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) or non-consensual deepfake depictions of any individual.
• Engage in extortion, sextortion, cyberbullying, doxxing, harassment, or defamation against any person.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, extract proprietary weights, or create derivative competitive models from Sealed Rose’s forensic neural pipelines.
• Launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, circumvent rate limits, scrape platform data, or abuse unauthenticated public endpoints.
• Violate any applicable federal, state, or international laws, these Terms, or our Community Guidelines.

6. Intellectual property & user media rights

User retains ownership: You retain all intellectual property rights in the media files you submit for verification. Sealed Rose does not claim copyright or ownership over your submitted media. You grant Sealed Rose a temporary, non-exclusive license solely to process, extract frames, transcode, and analyze your media in volatile memory for the sole purpose of generating your forensic report. Submitted raw media is processed ephemerally in volatile RAM and permanently deleted immediately after your scan, with temporary processing buffers cleared immediately upon request completion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Platform IP: Sealed Rose’s software, proprietary forensic architectures, scoring algorithms, trademarks, logos, and interface designs are the exclusive intellectual property of Kinetic Helix LLC.

7. DMCA & content removal

Kinetic Helix LLC respects intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on Sealed Rose infringes your copyright or constitutes unauthorized likeness exploitation, review our DMCA Policy to submit a notice to our Designated Agent.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FORENSIC SCORING WILL BE 100% ERROR-FREE OR DETECT EVERY NOVEL GENERATIVE MODEL.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KINETIC HELIX LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SEALED ROSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

9. Dispute resolution & governing law

Informal resolution: Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.

Court access: These Terms contain no mandatory arbitration clause and no class-action waiver. Claims may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Governing law & venue: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

10. Termination & severability

You may close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or API keys immediately for violations of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or platform security threats. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
