What to look for
Scammers use real-time face-swap software (like DeepFaceLive) and virtual camera loops to fool victims into believing they are talking to a real model on iPhone:
If you ask the caller to wave their hand in front of their nose and mouth, the face-swap model will glitch, showing original facial features between fingers.
The face often has different ambient color balance, skin tone, or sharp edges along the jawline compared to the neck and ears.
